Loren by Magnussen Home FurnitureThe Loren collection brings you a collection that can show off different styles depending on the look of your home. With glass light cabinets and turned posts the collection has a formal, traditional feel but when paired with a white, cheery background the collection shows off a casual cottage like style. The distressed deep cherry finish is used on all the pieces and accented by neutral off-white color upholstery. Glass doors used throughout allow you to display pieces with pride and built in lighting helps them shine. Mix and match pieces for the perfect combination of buffet and hutch storage with wine racks, a spot for stemware to hang and silverware trays. Let the refreshing mix of grand traditional with cottage casual transform your dining room.
One collection, many moods. At first glance, our stately Loren group is reminiscent of a grand English drawing room, complete with turned balustrades, glass light cabinet fronts and a camel back mirrored hutch. But change the backdrop, and this versatile collection is at turns cheery, neo-traditional, eclectic and even cottage casual. Finished in wax-rubbed cherry veneer over premium hardwood frames, accented by pewter overlain antique brass.

Some of the features that distinguish the Loren Collection by Magnussen Home Furniture are:

• Finished in a Wax-Rubbed Cherry Veneer
• Traditional style

About Magnussen Home Furniture

Since 1931, the Magnussen Home family has been committed to blending the fine qualities that they value in life into the fine furniture that they offer our customers. Integrity. Ingenuity. Style. Dedication. The people at Magnussen Home take pride in their company and in the furniture they produce.

Ingwer Magnussen founded the company in 1931, in the town of Kitchener, Ontario. A cabinetmaker by trade and a craftsman and businessman at heart, Ingwer took the bold step of starting his own company when he was unable to find work during the Great Depression. Serving Canadian upholstery manufacturers, he created beautiful, intricately carved show wood for sofa frames, earning a reputation that allowed his young business to grow into a good-sized company. Over the years, Magnussen Home has continued to grow, expanding to become a global enterprise. Yet, they have maintained the core principles of a family-run business – trust, honesty and respect – as the foundation of success of Magnussen Home.
